Enlightened Minnow
If Dr. Seuss tied a fly, I imagine it would look like this one.
The concept came from a discussion Kelly Galloup had on his podcast about using heat-bent mono to suspend an indicator above a fly.
This is, admittedly, a whimsical take that pairs a simple baitfish pattern with a floating lotus-shaped indicator on a mono stem – an experimental first pass that I plan to evolve through a few more designs like a diver element or submerged indicator/series of indicators.
