Sabine Seaducer

Sabine Seaducer

Difficulty

There’s something about a black and gold color scheme that is elegant, elevated, and FISHY!

Those were the three words I had in mind when I tied up my version of the Sabine Seaducer for The Black Fly Affair raffle benefiting the Galveston Bay Foundation. The event will be held August 16 in Houston, TX! Click here for more info!

The process of counting and selectively plucking herls from the saddle hackle to create the chevron pattern was tedious and time consuming, but I absolutely love the effect! Of course, for a similar look, you can always use grizzly hackle or permanent marker.
