Salmon Eggs

Salmon Eggs

Difficulty

I whipped up one of these salmon egg flies as part of a series of flies depicting the early life cycle of Atlantic salmon, and I’ve had several questions since then about how I made them, so here ya go! Specifically, these eggs represent the ‘eyed ova’ stage when the developing salmon embryo eyes are visible through the translucent egg. Now I just need a bacon and coffee fly!
