Needlefish
Last time Alex and I went out fishing, I had some little needlefish nipping at my fly and I took a moment to really study them. While they’re not a hugely popular bait in our area, it’s been confirmed that big snook will grab them up when given a chance, and I wasn’t going to miss the opportunity to tie a fly with such a fun silhouette! I found Giovanni’s pattern and tweaked it a bit to more closely mimic the needlefish in our area et voilà!
