Mangum's Dragon Tail
It was Alex’s turn to pick the fly this week, and we’ve had tarpon on our minds, so this fly was a great fit! The tail material is called “Mangum’s Dragon Tail”, and the fly shares the name, though our version is an amalgamation of several different versions we encountered. We figured, if we’re making a dragon, let’s make it fiery, and Alex opted for the vertical frogs eyes for a different look. Hopefully we’ll jump some poons with it, but in the meantime, look at this thing swim!!
